World Outreach would like to introduce to the Immanuel family an exciting ministry opportunity through Life in Messiah.
“In Search of Shalom” is an internet ministry that provides a secure & safe option for Jewish seekers to ask questions about Jesus through a non-threatening but exceptional avenue: online chat. This website intentionally presents Yeshua (Jesus) to all people in a Jewish-sensitive context and from Scriptures traceable to the Old Testament.
The Jewish people are precious in God’s sight, honored and loved (Isaiah 43:4) and His witnesses and servant (43:10). He is Israel’s Redeemer, “the Holy One of Israel,” their Creator and King (43:14-15). He has engraved them on His palms (49:15-15). The Scriptures are very clear: Israel matters a great deal to God.
Knowing God cares about the eternal destiny of everyone, both Life in Messiah and World Outreach want to make the most of every opportunity … even online chatting!
In Search of Shalom is available 24/7; volunteers are needed 24/7. This is where the Immanuel family engages!!
Life in Messiah will provide an online training in how to share your faith. Bible resources and FAQs are a click away – you are well-supported as you interact with seekers. Volunteers are asked give one block of two hours to this ministry, must be at least 18 years old and have access to a computer with high-speed internet capacity.
Begin praying now as to how God would like you to engage with In Search of Shalom.
More details about In Search of Shalom will be shared in both worship services Sunday, April 6. Click here to go to the ISOS page for more information.
